Tender & Commercial Support Specialist

We are seeking a Tender & Commercial Support Specialist to support the Tender Management Supervisor in managing the tendering process for marine spare parts logistics. This role will focus on coordinating pricing with origin and destination offices, inputting rates into tender documents, and ensuring accurate bid submissions. This position can be based at any of our MT office locations. We have offices in China, Germany, Greece, India, Japan, The Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, and the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Tender Management

    • Coordinate and manage the full tender lifecycle including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs for key global and regional clients.

    • Liaise with logistics partners to obtain pricing, transit times, and service capabilities.

    • Consolidate and format tender responses, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance with client specifications.

    • Maintain a central database of tender submissions and outcomes to support continuous improvement.

Sales Support

    • Provide administrative and strategic support to the Sales and Key Account teams.

    • Prepare commercial proposals, client presentations, and business cases.

    • Conduct market and competitor analysis to benchmark solutions and pricing.

    • Assist with contract reviews, SLA preparations, and client onboarding processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in air freight, ocean freight, and trucking logistics, preferably in a tender management or pricing role.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Good communication skills to collaborate with global offices.

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
